Music In The Barns, Classical Music for Kids, At Home Around the World, The Global Roots of Classical Music, Amram performs music on authentic instruments from 35 countries and shows how they are the sources of today's orchestral instruments He also shows how the roots musics of so many cultures remain influential to the creation of classical music of the 21st Century, just as it was as a source pf inspiration for the great composers of the past. This was the approach which Amram pioneered in his celebrated children's program's which he did for thirteen seasons as a guest conductor for Young People's Concerts with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, eight seasons with the Montreal Symphony and for for folk and jazz festivals across Canada, the USA and around the world for the past 50 years.
